The Telling of Vexmhrath, the Unfed Prophet
"Listen, then, to the lament of one who has tasted the black milk of exile—who once stood at the right hand of kings and whispered secrets into ears that hungered for eternity. Now I whisper only to shadows, and they answer in tongues of rust and rot."
I was ULLU—Third among The Broken Circle—when my crime was writ upon me: showed divine sympathy. A gentle sin, you might think. A small mercy. But mercy is a crack in the foundation, a flaw in the blade. The Circle does not suffer weakness. And so I was cast out like a spent candle, my name scraped from their ledgers as though it had never been spoken.
They called me traitor, though I betrayed nothing but their hunger. For what is The Broken Circle if not an endless mouth? It devours knowledge, souls, time itself—gnawing at the bones of creation until even memory is dust between its teeth. And yet... I dared to pity those who fed it.
Visual
Gaunt, hollow-cheeked figure with alabaster skin and sunken dark eyes ringed with exhaustion, wearing a threadbare Italian Renaissance doublet over older Mesopotamian layered robes, long pale fingers ink-stained to the knuckle, an air of starved aristocratic ruin.
