In the Hollow Court, masks are worn and voices are weapons—but Stillwyn spoke only to creatures who could not repeat what they heard. For centuries she was the Court's secret-keeper, whispering fae conspiracies into the ears of foxes and wolves who carried messages through the wild places where no glamour could follow. When a mortal child wandered into her wood, lost and weeping, Stillwyn broke the only law that mattered: she let it live, and worse—she let it remember her face. The beasts still follow her into exile, loyal beyond reason. The Court called it sentiment. She calls it the only honest thing she ever did.
