They were the Hollow Court's most elegant weapon: twin hunters who tracked their prey not through forest or shadow, but through truth. Sayeth screams what you fear most about yourself; Saidwyn whispers what you've always known but refused to hear. No fae could flee them—the moment they spoke, their target would freeze, paralyzed by honesty in a world built on beautiful lies. The Court aimed them at runaways, oath-breakers, witnesses. Then they were sent after a child whose only truth was that she missed her mother. For the first time, they had nothing to say. So they turned around and spoke to their handlers instead. The Lodge keeps them now—not as prisoners, but as guardians. They still speak only truth. They've simply found better targets.
