Born from an ember stolen from Ershetu—the deepest circle where heat speaks old grammar—Little Debt is neither demon nor familiar but something new: a created being shaped by three exiled women who refused to remain incomplete. Carried in Luelle's living grove, fed with the blood of all three sisters, raised in a star-stone bath of five sides, it learned appetite without frenzy and strength without waste. When the far circle called for its return, it chose its mothers instead. Now it stands between the Scorched Coven and the world, elegant as lacquer, patient as rain, precise as a ward drawn right the first time.
